Capital Dental Equipment (CDE), a subsidiary of Dental Health Management Solutions (DHMS), was established in 2011 as a distributor of certified, pre-owned dental x-ray equipment.
Since its inception in 2003, DHMS has spent countless hours working alongside dental health professionals to provide dental services to our military personnel around the world, imparting us with invaluable knowledge and a thorough understanding of the technological demands of modern dentistry. With our varied experience in the field and a staff with over 30 years of technical experience, CDE is pushing the envelope when it comes to dental imaging solutions.
We offer pre-owned, state-of-the-art equipment at an affordable price and with factory warranties that eliminates risk. Our high-quality, pre-owned dental x-ray systems meet the same quality standards as a new piece of equipment bought directly from the manufacturer, but at a significantly lower cost.
Meet the Team
Shane Stevens co-founded Dental Health Management Solutions in 2003 to provide affordable and convenient dentistry to the military as well as assisted living and nursing homes and has built DHMS into a successful holding company with several dental-related operating units. Under Stevens’ leadership, DHMS has grown from a local dental services provider to international provider of dental services.
Prior to forming DHMS with his wife Jennifer, Stevens spent several years in senior management roles developing and managing assisted living and Alzheimer’s memory residential centers with a leading developer. As a Senior Director he oversaw five (5) facilities.
Shane Stevens is a graduate of Southwest Texas State University with a BS in Long Term Health Care Administration. He and his wife, Jennifer, are both from Abilene, Texas and have three sons. Shane is a Deacon at Austin Baptist Church and leads a bible study at the University of Texas Golf Club. In 2011, Shane created Capital Dental Equipment, where he acts as CEO.
Jake comes to Capital Dental Equipment with many years experience working in dental sales and marketing. With over ten years of dental and multiple family members who are dentists and dental assistants, he brings crucial insight on product quality, efficiency and customer service from the practice's point of view.
Jessica Griess joined Capital Dental Equipment in November of 2014 as the Supervisor of Purchasing and Operations for Capital Dental Equipment. A graduate of Texas Tech University, she studied abroad in Seville, Spain and was previously a Director of Purchasing elsewhere before joining the CDE team.
Linda Bell joined the Capital Dental Equipment team in September of 2016. Linda first moved to Texas from Vermont right out of college and has worked at a variety of exciting businesses since. With years of scheduling experience for her 3 children, Linda fit right in taking care of all the needs of the CDE team.
Clinton Allred is a top technician at Capital Dental Equipment. His drive to get the job done right, knowledge of equipment, and outstanding customer service, make him an all-star out in the field. Outside of work Clinton loves to play baseball, go to musical events, travel, and spends most of his time outdoors. He is a diehard Texas Rangers fan and has an obsession with Star Wars.
Forrest Arnold joined the Capital Dental Equipment team in March of 2016. Forrest has worked as an audio engineer for recording studios and music festivals all over the country. He has technical expertise in the field of radiological intraoral, extraoral, and CBCT machines. Forrest loves all things food and studies molecular gastronomy in his free time.
Kevin King joined the Capital Dental Equipment team in February of 2016. Kevin graduated from Texas State University in 2015 with a B.S. in Computer Science. Prior to joining CDE, Kevin was a contract service technician for Austin Sonic’s and Chillking for 7 years. Kevin is a team player and loves the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Longhorns.
Erik Leon joined the Capital Dental Equipment team in August of 2017. Erik moved to Texas from Hawaii 7 years ago. Prior to joining CDE he worked for FedEx Ground for 6 years. Erik is hard working, has great customer service skills and possesses a desire to be great at everything he does. Outside of work he likes to go hiking, swim, explore new restaurants and watch movies.
